- Engine: While this is not really paramount, it might be a concern if you are choosing to drive the RC vehicle over thick muddy waters. If this is the case, then choosing an RC vehicle with a more powerful engine will be important. Otherwise, this wouldn’t be that important
- Capabilities: Though it is labeled as an amphibious RC vehicle, you will still need to know its capabilities as well as its limitations. For example, you might want to choose an amphibious vehicle that shelters the engine from the water. Or, you will want to get an amphibious RC car that can drive through high puddles or even thick mud.
- Controls: The controls itself should preferably be ergonomic and easy to control.
- Design: This is tricky. Most of the time, the design itself can’t be seen, since it will be covered by dirt, mud, and water. But who wouldn’t mind a beautiful looking amphibious vehicle?

The Distianert 1/12 Scale RC Truck 4WD Electric Amphibious RC Car is another amphibious car that we have considered when we started on our journey to find the one amphibious car that will suit my budget as well as will suit my child’s needs.
It is able to traverse through low lying water as well as through rocky terrain. Often touted as the best RC car that can traverse through all terrains, the Distianert RC truck will certainly not fail your expectations. The only reason why I did not choose this is that of the design. I wanted something that is cute and less bulky looking. But if the amphibious RC car was for myself, I would have chosen this due to the longer battery life.

Another tough looking amphibious RC car is the INTEY RC Cars Amphibious Remote Control Car. While it cannot be totally submerged into water, it is still able to traverse through literally any terrain that you throw to it.
The body itself is made with a tough alloy that helps to protect the amphibious RC crawler from collisions. Also, what we love is the tires, as it does allow this amphibious RC crawler to move through a wide variety of terrain types.
The battery, however, could be wanting as it does not last that long. And this is the reason why we did not select this for our child.

It can be pretty fun to use this too as it can speed through water much faster than any of the other amphibious RC car that we have reviewed.
